All it takes is 3 simple steps:
- BL Member: Invite a Buddy*.
- Have your Buddy complete this form and turn it in on the day of their donation.
- When your Buddy successfully donates blood, you’ll each be awarded 500 BL Points.
Please Note: High school drives are not eligible for the Buddy Program.

To be eligible for the Buddy program* and bonus points:
- The referring donor must be a prior Central Blood Bank donor and a BL Rewards Member to refer a Buddy.
- The Buddy must be either a first time donor with Central Blood Bank or have not donated in the past 24 months.
- New BL Rewards members must allow 48 hours for their membership to be activated prior to referring a Buddy.
- BL Member and each participating Buddy must complete the Buddy form and mention code (BUD1) at the time of their donation.
Once BL Rewards membership is active, referring donor will receive 500 bonus points for every friend or family member who successfully donates at any Central Blood Bank location and credits them as a Buddy with the Buddy form. Each Buddy will be automatically enrolled in the BL Rewards program and will be awarded 500 bonus points for a successful donation.
Points will be credited within 15 business days. Points are non-transferable, non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. No limit to the number of Buddies that may be referred. All donation types are accepted. This program is subject to change at ITxM’s discretion. Void where prohibited by law.
*The application of Buddy program promotion at mobile drives must be pre-qualified with Central Blood Bank Business Development Representative prior to drive execution. High school drives are not eligible for the Buddy Program.
